Fox Rothschild LLP Litigation Paralegal in Dallas, Texas

Description

Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Litigation paralegal with prior trial experience and a minimum of three (3) years of paralegal experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare and summarize case related materials including document productions and case chronologies;

  • Assist with the preparation of court filings, including proofreading and assembling of exhibits and appendices;

  • Indexing, tracking, and controlling exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial;

  • Assist with reviewing documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria;

  • Summarizing depositions and other transcripts;

  • Working closely and directly with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation;

  • Prepare deposition, mediation and trial exhibits (electronically and paper form) for use by the case team;

  • Conduct internet research; and

  • Provide excellent client service to all team members.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Other related duties, as assigned.

  • Annual billable hour requirement – 1,400

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

Education:

  • BA or BS degree strongly preferred.

  • Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate with a minimum of 3 years of professional services firm or in-house legal Department experience required.

Experience:

  • Three years of professional work experience (law firm, preferred). Previous work experience in a law firm or other client service environment is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent PC skills, including but not limited to proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Experience with Adobe PRO/Nuance PDF.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a team environment.

  • Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
